Colored Paper

Craving Tobiko ~ 8/26/10 ~ 8x11

Have you ever used a sketchbook with colored pages? I have been working in this one for over 5 years. What? Yeah. I don't pick it up that often because I feel like I have to fight with the brightness of the paper. Is that a challenge or just an annoyance? I hope to finish this sketchbook soon. I started in it in May of 2005. Whoa.

I like how you embraced this challenge Andrea. Sometimes you need to go against the tide to keep things fresh for yourself. Just wait until you get that book back from me! ;)

You should feel fine about any length of time spent "finishing" a sketchbook :-) I still have several half-baked books I started back in college, yikes. And I have other books I bought years ago (made of colored, flecked handmade paper) that I have yet to start! Oops. My eyes are always bigger than my gumption.

Well, you did great meeting this challenge--it looks wonderful--I love it!!! The colors coordinate well, as does the pattern.

Did you see an email from me about possibly writing a letter of recommendation? (You'd have to be able to think of something good to say, lol.)

are the little "unfinished" parts intentional?

I'm assuming it's part of the pattern, but I can't figure it out, there's a 2 and a 3 but I haven't found the one?

OH wait, I found the one. OK, cool.
