You have the most fantastic art!! I love your use of colors.

If you ever learn how to make the thumbnail thingy, please let me know too. I am lost.

Well..first I'll tell you how much I like your drawing. I like it Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much! That's a lot! The colors are great, and I am always so awed by the way you combine lines and shapes in a seemingly endless array of unique designs.

Thumbnail... if you have photoshop or any other kind of photo/imaging software, simply select a square area (it doesn't have to be perfect, because you'll resize it) of your piece and then copy it into a new document. Resize it to 50 pixels x 50 pixels at 72 dpi and then save for web. That should work.

P.S. Thanks for not mentioning the saggy boob on the tattooed lady;>

My take on Thumbnailing (in PHotoshop) is this:

Choose Rectangular Marquee Tool.

In the Options for that tool, Change Style to Fixed Size, and type 50 x 50 into Width and Height.

Now Click on your picture, and you get a the little shimmering square.

Drag it around to select a promising area.

Resize picture if desired(temporarily - you needn't save), by Image - Image Size - and type in a smaller height or width. nb.If you've got Constrain Proportions selected one will follow the other.

Keep dragging that square around looking for the 'best bit'. Then syphon it off by copying and pasting into a new file.

If you haven't got Photoshop, it might be similar in other software, otherwise totally ignore all of above...

I love the colors in this and the little black cloud! I once for real saw a house with a littel black cloud over it when all the toehr houses had sun!!!

I alwyas have to make my little square 49x49 or 48 by 48 or they won't take it. I have to keep resizing it smaller or it won't go onto the site.

You can aalso resize a piece or all of it with IRfanview, which is FREE if you don't have photoshop.

I like your compositions
there is something NEW at them
I cannot define it yet, but I don't need to do that

I liked the black cloud in this - and those long black drops

This is great--it looks as if it's about to downpour on some mesas out west perhaps. Wonderful work again!

I just had recently figured it out as I'm not much of a computer-type myself. I fooled around with the configuration on my scanner software basically. I really can't verbally explain it. I copied the instructions to paper from I.F. and basically went with them. Does it make much of a difference to have a thumbnail. I don't think so too much actually.

The orange and black reminds me of my high school, since they were the school colors.

Very cool design. Looks like a rain storm at sunset.

There's a lot to see here... I especially like what happens with the negative space(s) in your drawings... like in the upper left between the grey swirl and that upper circle. Wonderful... as is the 'dance' drawing farther down the page.

As for the thumbnail... others have covered that pretty well. If not using Photoship or imaging software, I'm not sure how you make sure of the pixel count and resolution.

Thanks for the advice one and all ... I should have stated in my plea for help that I do not have Photoshop.

Maybe Steve is right, you are all still looking at my submissions, so maybe the thumbnail doesn't matter.

Thanks!

Hey Big A, Irfanview is easy, and FREE and you can download it. Free, no hassles.

Then you open the picture in Irfanview and you can resize it in about ten seconds.

But we are still looking--I like this one a LOT, I know I said that already, but I was enjoying revisiting it. :-)

email me at taittems@gmil.com if you DO want Irfanview and you can't download it without help.

Love this! And since you already got good advice on the thumbnail I won't repeat it. :-)
